Winners of Free Art Tomorrow's "For The Love Of Art" Contest will be featured at Ico Gallery in prime Tribeca, NYC; currently the country's most exclusive and expensive zip code. Ico Gallery is the vanguard of the philosophy of Free Art Tomorrow. Offering artists platinum opportunities in the exclusive New York art market.

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTION CAREFULLY

Your submission will NOT be accepted if you do not follow the instructions!

You must JOIN THE APPROPRIATE GROUP. We cannot stress this enough! We will be selecting the contest winners according to groups. YOU ARE REQUIRED to join at least one appropriate group. You may join as many as you like that are appropriate for your work. For example, if you are a Surrealist painter, you should join the Surrealist group and if you are a realist, join Realist. Your submission to the Emerging Artist Contest will NOT be accepted if you are not in an appropriate group.

1. CREATE A USER ACCOUNT ON FREE ART TOMORROW
     A. Upload a profile or representational image (must not be left blank)
     B. Enter a valid email address
     C. Your User Name should be your FIRST and LAST name
     D. Enter a password that you will be able to remember
     E. Enter your date of birth
     F. For verification purposes, enter the text that appears in the image below
     G. To finish creating your account, click on the link in the CONFIRMATION EMAIL that you receive.

2. JOIN THE APPROPRIATE GROUP
     A. We will be selecting the contest winners according to groups
     B. For example, if you are a Surrealist painter, you should join the Surrealist group and if
        you are a realist, join Realist. Your submission to the Emerging Artist Contest will NOT be

     C. When logged into your Free Art Tomorrow account, click on the "GROUPS" link at the top of
        the page
     D. Click on the group that you would like to join
     E. One the next page opens, click on "Join This Group"

3. ADD YOUR RESUME AND PERSONAL STATEMENT TO YOUR ACCOUNT

The more you add to your account, the more you participate and the more we know about you, the greater the chance of you winning the contest. This shows us that you are serious about your career!

     A. When logged into your Free Art Tomorrow account, click on the "My Home" link at the top of
        the page
     B. When the next page opens, click "Edit My Profile"
     C. Add your resume and personal statement into the "About Me" section
     D. Click on "Update Profile" at the bottom of the page

4. UPLOAD AT LEAST SIX (6) IMAGES OF YOUR ARTWORK
     A. When logged into your Free Art Tomorrow account, click on the "Photos" link at the top of the
        page
     B. Click the "Add Photos" on the right side of the navigation bar
     C. Click the "Choose File" button, locate the image on your computer and click "Choose"
     D. Enter the name of the work into the "Title" box, and the medium, dimensions and year into the
        "Description" box. Entering "Tags" is highly recommended.
     E. You MUST select the appropriate "Category" for the image. Example, if it is an abstract
        painting, you must choose "Abstract."
     F. Click "Add Photo" at the top of the page
     G. Repeat these steps for the rest of your images

ELIGIBILITY

     •Original works in any medium
     •Works must be ready for hanging, and clearly labeled with the artists name and contact
        information - NO SPECIAL HANGING - NO DRILLING INTO WALLS - all work must be able to
        hang directly from a typical hanger, such as a nail.
     •2 or 3 dimensional works, free-standing installations
     •Acceptance of works may be withdrawn with proper notice, at the discretion of Ico Gallery
     •No works over 50 pounds
     •No substitutions of accepted works
     •All accepted works will remain on display during the duration of the exhibit
     •Shipping and retrieval of artwork is the responsibility of the artist. Pick-up of artwork by an
        agency or bypre-paid COD or waybill to be included with artwork. It is the responsibility of
        artists shipping from abroad to research customs requirements

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Artists are responsible for insuring their work in transit. Ico Gallery will NOT be responsible for loss or damage to work. We take extensive measures to ensure the safety of your work and we work diligently to protect our mutual investment in your important artwork. Please make sure to inquire about insurance from your shipping company so that work is not damaged in the process of packaging or transit.

SALES AND COPYRIGHT

All pieces will be for sale and a 50% commission will be charged on works that are sold. Your entry grants permission to Ico Gallery for use of images on all promotional materials.

AGREEMENT

The owners and directors of Ico Gallery will choose winners based on our ability to successfully represent the artists at Ico Gallery. Artists will be chosen by the quality of their artwork and by the suitability to our market and current patrons.

By entering the 2009 "For The Love Of Art Contest," you are stating that you HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND I AGREE TO ABIDE BY THEM. Ico Gallery reserves the right to alter or revoke the contest term at any time, and will post any revisions to www.FreeArtTomorrow.com.
